Located within the operational zone of Begumpet Airport, this aircraft maintenance facility is conceived as a compact yet highly efficient Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) hangar complex supporting business and regional aviation operations. Developed on a 12,364 sqm site, the project integrates aircraft servicing infrastructure with specialized technical workshops to create a streamlined aviation maintenance environment.

The campus is organized into two primary functional components: the aircraft hangar and an adjoining technical workshop block, designed to ensure efficient workflow between aircraft servicing and component-level maintenance. The hangar spans approximately 3,162 sqm with a clear structural span of 69.6 meters, allowing unobstructed maneuverability and flexible maintenance bays for multiple aircraft categories. Adjacent to the hangar, the 3,120 sqm workshop facility houses dedicated technical spaces supporting inspection, repair, and component servicing activities.

The facility is designed to accommodate a range of business and regional aircraft, including the Airbus A320, Embraer Legacy 135, Hawker 900XP, ATR 72, and Gulfstream G500. The hangar planning prioritizes clear aircraft movement zones, integrated ground-support equipment areas, and efficient access between airside apron space and internal maintenance bays.

Architecturally, the project emphasizes large-span structural efficiency, optimized circulation, and functional zoning, enabling smooth coordination between aircraft servicing, tooling, and workshop operations. The integration of hangar and workshop facilities ensures reduced turnaround time for maintenance activities while maintaining high operational safety standards.

Positioned within the historic aviation precinct of Begumpet, the facility contributes to strengthening Hyderabad’s role in India’s growing aviation maintenance ecosystem, supporting both corporate aviation and regional aircraft servicing with modern infrastructure and efficient operational planning.
