Nesto Mall

The site on which Nesto’s 20,500sqm mall was to be designed held several challenges.
The land sloped down by 14m. The site was only 27m wide and 160m long. We converted the obstacles into design opportunity.

The mall was designed with its commercial space enjoying a clear 23m column free span. Allowing the arrangement of the retail merchandise and views of the inside unobstructed.
We matched the slope of the land to the basement levels and created 3 levels of parking for about 200 cars. 5m cantilevers were introduced in the rear to facilitate entry and exit for loading and unloading space and movement for Trailer trucks.

3 levels of shopping are visually connected by atriums.

A 9x23m Cantilever facade introduced to make the branding more noticeable, protect the entrance podium.

From the day of its opening the mall has become a popular destination in a small town.
